@SusanALoy280Before becoming an instructional designer at the Center for Teaching Excellence, Penn State Harrisburg, I was a music instructor in higher education and also ran my own private music studio. My approach in teaching music lessons is to know what the overall outcome is for each student and guide them on their path to reach their personal goals and embrace creativity. This is so connected to the process as an instructional designer, as the ideas of education being student-centered, individual, and accessible are at the forefront of your mind.
