Photography life. Evaluation.
Purpose appears to be promotion of their own work, workshops and to share their knowledge with some financial benefit (similar to every publication). 
All authors have a bio and most have a website link of their own work and/or businesses. 
This website is relevant because I want to learn about photography and it includes beginners instruction and links to specific kinds of photography. 
It is written in plain language, making it easy for me to understand . 
Individual articles all have authors and dates. Courses have authors. 
There are some ads, but they disclose a financial benefit from buying equipment from photography sales links (more than one). Reviews are not sponsored and it is easy to contact them.
Having cross-checked contributors and the online publication themselves with no negative findings, I  consider this a trustworthy and useful site to use.
