January 2019 in the European Ombudsman's office

In January we have issued a press release following the European Parliament's vote of support to our recommendations concerning the accountability of the Council's legislative process. There has also been good progress in our work with the Commission regarding web accessibility and the staff sickness insurance scheme concerning disabilities. Finally, the end of January is the deadline for the submission of nominations for the 'Good Administration Award'.
