Activity 2: Write your first Growing Systems of Success (GSS) story.

Choose a project that you completed recently. Write a story in terms of the five key moments (Awareness, Discovery, Direction, Integration, Transformation).

The five moments represent greater clarity about goals and activities from the time we recognize a possibility to the moment we complete a project.

Awareness - Write about a moment when you saw a possibility and started asking "Is this for me?

Discovery - Write about a moment when you started investigating a possibility by asking: "Is this project doable and worth doing?

Direction -Write about a moment when you decided to do a project and started identifying nano-projects. This is the moment when you started asking:" What nano-projects (short projects with clear success criteria that are doable with the resources at hand) should we do now?"

Integration -Write about a moment when you figured out how to weave nano-projects together to get a micro/macro project done. The question during this phase is: How can we get this (micro/macro) project done?

Transformation - Write about a moment when you achieved success. The question to ask is : How did I meet the success criteria of the string of nano projects done.
