For our in-class model analysis, we will focus on animal poaching and trafficking. You will collaborate as a group to produce a coherent analysis of this serious global crisis. Each person will read about one aspect of poaching and trafficking. Then, using what everyone in the group learned individually, together map out the bigger picture of why/how this is happening, and what its impacts are. 
A look at some topical vocabulary, the SDG target and this analysis task are organized into an introductory slideshow. 'What is CITES?' gives an overview of the problem, and the other articles are provided for your research.  
Make a copy of the worksheet for your group to submit as your final report. There are some citation examples to follow at the bottom of this Wakelet collection.
