Process: How students will learn. Students can get to the same goal using different pathways. Let go of power and let students make choices.
Product: What is the product students will be able to demonstrate what they understand and can do. Student’s own ideas and materials.
Learning Environment: Setting the tone in the classroom for learning and expectations. Encouraging growth mindsets - Personalized learning - Student centered.
Proactive planning: Upfront planning before the lesson is finished. Looking at individual students and planning for them.
Upgrading Differentiation: Just like upgrading a computer program, teachers need to upgrade by shifting beliefs about differentiation and change their approaches.
