Environmental Racism: How Public Policy Allows Pollution to Disproportionately Impacts Black, Indigenous, and Hispanic Communities

This collection analyzes examples of environmental racism against different communities as well as general advocacy and education about the topic in an objective sense, and differing opinions on environmental racism from various media sources. BIPOC communities are more likely to live within close proximity to plants increasing toxic pollutants, impacting their health and quality of life. This is because these communities are more likely to be ignored by policy makers and zoning management and have their neighborhoods disrupted by new projects due to lack of education and resources within these communities to push back against said projects.
