Spring Fayre
I would like to thank everyone in our community for their active participation in our Spring Fayre last Saturday. It was so good to get everyone back together and host the event for the first time since 2019. The feedback we have received from staff, students and parents has been incredibly positive and indicated that a great time was had by all! Thankfully, we were blessed with wonderful weather and this really helped maintain the feelgood factor of finally being able to all get together. A special mention must go to all of of our parent volunteers, ably supported by Vera, who helped man stalls and sell tickets. The book swap, BBQ and homemade food stalls were all a huge success. Also, a personal thank you to all our external vendors who helped make the event even more enjoyable.
It is with great pleasure that I can announce that we will be handing over a cheque (or in these modern times making a credit transfer!) of over 1 million forint to our nominated charity, UNHCR, over the next few weeks. It was a day filled with fun and I cannot wait for next year.
