LEARNING EPISODE 4: Art of Questioning

The Instructional Learning Cycle (ILC) is a well-defined process that fosters collaboration and collective responsibility within a teacher team by establishing structures for short-term cycles of improvement. These brief cycles of improvement are guided by a teacher team defining a measurable objective that is aligned with state standards and developing an instructional strategy for implementation during a particular round of the ILC. Meanwhile, the Acquisition, Meaning-making, and Transfer as the three distinct kinds of learning emphasized in the UBD framework ensure a learner-centered approach in designing a learning plan. This module highlights the importance of the instructional learning cycle and comprehensively discusses the interrelatedness of the AMT as a learning design.
