Cultural Significance: Child Trafficking and Poverty
	Stories like Siddharths’ are all too real in India. Child traffickers can easily manipulate or simply kidnap children and force them into slave labor, sex work, the organ trade, or s exploit them in some other fashion. And with the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, Indias’ economy has only continued to suffer. Over 140 million Indian residents have lost their jobs since March. Schools and workplaces have closed, and many families who lost their jobs are even more desperately trying to find ways to survive. Children can legally work from the age of 14, with certain restrictions. But as we’ve seen from Siddharth, this rule is not too often followed (Yeung, Jessie). 
         As stated previously, millions of Indian residents have lost their jobs since March, when the government first imposed a lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. And since the lockdown, there's been an increase in children's vulnerability, as children are now averaged to go missing every 8 minutes in India. (Leeza)

Concurring with an article by Smriti Chand of yourarticlelibrary, there are several ways India can improve economically, such as:
     Strengthening the legal and regulatory system of Indias' government
     Strengthening human resources such as education and health and infrastructures. 
     Evaluating and strengthening both the private and public sectors of the economy (Chand, Smriti).
