Summer & eLearning Resources

Our teachers, media specialists, coordinators, administrators, and instructional technology staff have collaborated to provide a set of resources that our students can look forward to accessing during the summer months. We strongly encourage offline experiences and learning opportunities during the summer. Striking a balance with our digital lives is important and we teach into this as part of our Media Literacy classes as early as Kindergarten. If you are interested in online content, we have curated the following online resources so that students and families are not overwhelmed, but instead, excited to engage in the learning through these links. We have attempted to offer a balance of familiar content and new access. We offer multiple degrees of challenge and interest through varied, diverse content to engage and inspire both curiosity and critical thinking. We recommend that students in grades 4, 5, and 9 (transition years) look to the offerings one grade-level up or below so they may find an extended range of content to meet their needs. We wholeheartedly support summer reading in all its forms and it is the number one recommendation from our team! Please explore the suggestions here that include multiple access points to books. Happy Summer! ~Your RSD10 Educators 💕
