The main story of Hajimari no Kiseki III is set in the Ao no Kanata,
which is a nameless land that was once owned by the noble family of Sangō.
In order to reclaim the jewel-like stones that were left to them from the Sangō family, "sword-wielding heroes" with the likes of Zelin, Ormusu and Algire swarmed the land and battled by using
the skills they have gained over the years.
You take on various missions with your "Personal Dragon Weapon," the Zanbato,
in order to restore the country with the "Dragon's Pearl," a legendary jeweled sword.
The main story of Hajimari no Kiseki III is a series of linked battles and is comprised of three chapters.
- [Chapter] 1: The Beginning of the Battle
The Zanbato, a legendary sword, was created by the Sangō family,
and it is a weapon that fulfills the wishes of its wielder.
It has the power to change fate and seek out its true owner.
As a hero in the land of Ao no Kanata, you will have to fight
against an old friend and new enemies with the help of the Zanbato.
- [Chapter] 2: Adventure with the Zanbato
There is a map representing the Zanbato's unique powers stored in the Zanbato's Nebula.
You must pass through hidden places throughout the land to find the Zanbato's Nebula.
The events you go through in each chapter, as well as the experiences you make as you advance in the story,
will determine which chapter in the main story is completed first.
- [Chapter] 3: Only the Strong Will be Counted among the Clans
Zelin, Ormusu, and Algire, as well as the heroes from other clans, are scattered throughout the land of Ao no Kanata.
Some have gotten separated, and others have not yet gotten together.
You'll have to find where each hero is and fight with them,
in order to restore the four clans that were once in the Sangō family, and return the dragon gemstones to their true owners.

During battles, use a Shining Pom to increase the Attack and Support Levels of all the members of your party. Your Shining Pom can also give out Zelam Powder.
This is the fourth set of Shining Pom Incense obtained in this title.

In this game the characters talk to each other using real words.
The noblemen scold Honei for causing problems with Tataki during her illicit love affair.
Honei replies that Tataki is a friend and a boy she thought loved her.
The noblemen also scold Honei about her love for Miyu.
Meanwhile, a courtesan comes to look for Honei, declaring that she had a vision about her.
Honei also visits Miyu and is alarmed to discover that she has now fallen for Miyu's cousin, Miyo.
Honei decides to set Miyu free, but Tataki appears and declares that she has fallen in love with Miyu.
The noblemen scold Tataki for telling lies, but Tataki says that her love for Miyu is real.
The noblemen persuade Miyu to sacrifice herself as Honei is forbidden to leave the country.
At a boat dock, Miyu informs Honei that she has decided to drown herself in the sea for love.
Honei is left in a panic and sets off to rescue Miyu, but finds that Tataki is already on the boat.
Honei recalls how she used to think that Tataki was at fault for Miyu's death.
The boat is nearing the shore, but Tataki stops the boat.
"Mio!" Tataki shouts. "Miyu!"
Later in the day, Miyu washes herself in the sea.
She discovers that Tataki is there.
Tataki takes the towel from Miyu and leads her into the waves...
