Research - behind the style and topics and how this has been used to make decisions. 
We decided to start off with Black Mirror's episode ArkAngel which is about a woman who gets a chip in her daughter, which allows the mum to take a look inside her mind and lets her see what her daughter sees all through a electrical tablet. Throughout the piece the theme control is used significantly and we wanted to create a performance piece around the theme control, how much control can have over a person, and how much it effects their lives. 
We next started looking at practitioners that we could use, we looked at Stanislavski but  after some research and more understanding of Konstantin Stanislavski, we decided to switch it up and use Epic Theatre by Bertolt Brecht. We found Epic Theatre was much for effective for our ideas that we came up with for the performance . So we decided to use Brecht Techniques such as a narrator, breaking down the fourth wall, and alienating the audience. 
We then looked at Forum Theatre, what it was about, and what possible ideas we could develop and portray in our piece. We decided to link the idea of having a strong communication with the audience and having a narrator, between the audience and characters instead of being able to come up on stage, keeping to social distancing and but still keeping close link with the idea of Forum Theatre. 
Lastly we looked at Banksy. who he was, and what he did. He's life was very private, which we used to our advantage in the piece, and we decided to use Banksy as one of the characters inspirations and why they chose to Graffiti, we also decided to use one of his quotes at the beginning of the performance as it was very strong and stood out to us, linked well to our performance.
