Don't worry about all the details. 
Pick and read a passage the kids will like and know when to stop - leave them wanting more.
Leave out notecards for students to leave reviews and/or summaries, then post in the library. 
Record your booktalks and share (Flipgrid, Wakelet, Instagram, YouTube, QR codes).
Use conversations with groups so that others overhear and let students "sell" stories. 
Use book trailers from publishers to get background info. 
Booktalk for teachers and provide presentation of books, then let teachers share with students. 
Post images of covers of what you're reading. 
Laminate posters (like book lists) and add ratings or comments. 
Share form/survey with teachers to get their recommendations and display teachers' favorites.
Create images/lists of read-alikes. 
Pair fiction and nonfiction.
