Dream Quest is a turn based RPG with an emphasis on building and playing custom decks.
Gameplay
Dream Quest is a turn based RPG where you build your own deck of cards as you go, and are faced with decisions that shape your relationship with each of the game's characters.
Your Deck
Your dream deck is composed of 4 "families" and each family contains one or more individual cards. The cards must be of a certain color and will show up in your deck if they match the family they are a part of.
Each card can have one or more "Mods" on it. Mods are like Action Points and you can use them to "activate" cards by spending the points. Some Mods are more powerful than others, but they can be used to trigger special events, attack bonuses or to inflict effects on other cards.
Some decks will use a limited set of certain Mods. Others can mix and match all the mods.
Stats
Each card has a specific attribute or stats that can be influenced by Mods. Each card can have up to 4 Mods on it.

-Dies first
-Rebuilds last
-View range is 1 hex
-Chances for Dodge and Parry
-Chances for Attacking, Damage and Defense
-Chances for Class Mod cards (optional).
About Us
Our company, The Medicine Hat Games, is like most others in game development, a two person company who are both just barely getting by. We have a couple of alphas and betas under our belt, but this is our first official release.
