Summary: In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chinese government has taken some measures to support online education.this study is divided into several parts: firstly, the policy development of online education in China during the epidemic have been explored; secondly, the analysis of the online education and teaching mode during the epidemic is offered to examine the different kinds of patterns of online teaching and learning; thirdly, both the characteristics and trends of online education in China during the epidemic have been investigated to examine the rationales of online education during the COVID-19; lastly, the problems, discussions and remarks have been also been offered.
Usefulness/limitations:Only in special times, China's national policy tends to change quickly, when the country no longer need, will immediately introduce restrictions or bans related documents.
How it fits my topic:In China, national policy support is one of the important reasons for the booming development of a certain industry. This paper explains the importance of online education at that time from the perspective of policy.
