These are the different languages I have learnt, and the pieces I have done under them.
In this piece, I made a poster in French to help find an imaginary, lost animal. In the process of learning about how to make the poster, I learnt about the names of animals, and the colors in French, as well as new vocabulary. I used my Transfer Thinking skills in this piece, to use my knowledge of colors, animals, and my vocabulary to do it.
In this piece, I made a journal in French showing the food I ate for a week. In this piece, I revised basic phrases and words, and the days of the week, and I learnt the French names of some kinds of food. I used my Transfer Thinking skills to apply my knowledge of basic phrases and vocabulary, and the different days of the week.
In this piece, I reflected on my knowledge of French food. Prior to this piece, I learnt different facts about French food. I used my Reflective (Reflection) and Creative (Generating Novel Ideas) Thinking skills to do the reflection and think of a new French - Indian fusion dish.
In this piece I wrote my own story . I used my Creative ( Generating Novel Ideas ) thinking skills to think of an interesting plot. This piece taught me to think of the whole story mountain and all its elements before starting work.
We wrote a paragraph on a topic of our choice.I chose the topic "skunks".I used my transfer thinking skills to apply my knowledge of Skunks from a podcast into this paragraph.I learnt that now that we are in 4th Grade we can make paragraphs of atleast 8 sentences.
