The Land of Stories is a series based on a pair of twins named Alex and Connor Bailey and they couldn’t be more different. While Alex was too smart for her own good, Connor was the exact opposite. The one thing they had in common other than their birthday was that they liked fairytales. Their grandmother used to read to the twins from an old storybook and on their 12th birthday gifted the twins that very same storybook. For the next week Alex started acting weird. She dozed off in class and didn't answer any of the teacher’s questions. Finally, one day Connor barged into her room and saw the old storybook wide open and glowing on her bed. Alex, being so surprised at Connor’s sudden appearance, fell headfirst into the book and Connor decided to jump into the book right after. When they woke up they were….in a forest???
