How to correctly hold a pencil.
We will practice writing our letters and numbers correctly.
We will practice using all three lines on the paper for proper handwriting and neatness.
Write letters and numbers by starting at the top of the letter/number.
Capital letters are needed at the beginning of sentences.
Sentences need to end with the proper punctuation.

What is a sentence?
When we do use a period, question mark, or exclamation point?
My trick (this is a body movement activity.)  - When we say something and it is a complete thought...  If we understand it we can sit down on a spot.  (It looks like a period.)  If we are excited about something and jump up and down we can look like an exclamation mark.  If we don't understand something we can curl up and put our finger on our head.  We can look like a question mark.
