Resource Annotations: This website is full of resources all centered around the White House. This website allows teachers and students to view rooms of the White House and learn about the different events and activities that take place in the White House. It even discusses the history of the White House and has different printable resource packets that could be used in the classroom. Although this is a great resource, this website houses a lot of information and would still need to be looked at in detail by the teacher to curve the learning in their classroom.
Resource Annotations: This is another resource I found on the Alabama Virtual Library website. I love how this website has the open to change the view and layout depending on the age of the students. It also has a picture gallery to go with the article on the website, which is a great visual tool for teachers to be able to give their students. It also has a section titled “related articles” that can be viewed for more articles related to the topic. What I do not like about this website resource is that you have to purchase a subscription to have a simple feature like text reading.
Resource Annotations: I love this virtual tour website, and, in my opinion, a virtual tour is such a great engaging activity for students. This could easily be put in a center in a classroom for students to do independently! Using a virtual tour for instruction is a great way to make sure feel apart of the learning. The downfall of this website is that virtual tours could make you a little dizzy!
