Dear Students,

My name is Sarah Fisher and I am your Introduction to Education Teacher this year!. I am so excited to get to know all of you this year. Introduction to Education is a beginner level Education Course designed to give you a “taste” of the education profession. This course is challenging and rewarding! You will get to experience life inside of a classroom in our district and also learn the basic “in’s and out’s” of the teaching profession. I absolutely love teaching this class and getting to watch you all fall in love with teaching!

I have created a Wakelet page with some resources I think will help you during this course. I have added a link on APA 7th Edition because you will complete 3 assignments where you will need to use APA format. I have also added a couple of youtube videos on how to use some fun technology when you are teaching your lessons. I provided a chart for Bloom’s Taxonomy and Teacher Excellence Support System so you will have these resources when you create your lessons to teach. Lastly, I added a link to the University of Central Arkansas Torreyson Library. Since this is a Concurrent Credit class you will be able to utilize their library for projects and research.
