To support this new product, Autodesk created a new company, Autodesk Inc. However, since then, the main competitors have changed: Dassault Systemes (now a division of France's Dassault Group) and Bentley Systems. Dassault has a strong software offering with support for computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) and large-scale modeling and simulation (MSDS), and it's the biggest technology company in the world. The Bentley System in turn had a strong product offering in architectural and engineering CADD software and specialized software for the military and infrastructure industries.
