Collaborative Tools Reflection
Tello - Tello is a great tool for online collaboration, however it is a little too advanced for the age-group I work with. 3rd graders would have difficulty navigating through this website because of the language used and complexity of the tool. This would be better to use with the upper elementary grades, and it is available on both laptops and ipads. Another con for this tool is that you have to pay for the Business Class subscription to get the special features.
Padlet - Padlet is something I have used a lot in the past, and I think it is a great tool for online collaboration. It is something that I think 3rd graders would be able to use, especially with some instruction and tutorials beforehand. You’re able to reply to your classmates, and add links, photos, or videos as well. It is very easy to navigate, available on all devices, and completely free. 
Slack - I had never heard of Slack before, but it is a wonderful resource for online communication. I think that students would really benefit from using this app to communicate with their group members for some sort of group project. Slack is pretty much a messaging app and you can use emojis, attach photos or files, and even tag other people. This app is available on all devices, and free as well!
Twiddla - Twiddle is an online whiteboard that others can join and edit. This would be a great way to get your students to brainstorm ideas together in a remote setting. Through this tool you are able to draw, make shapes, add text, images, and you can even share a website. You can also access this tool without creating an account. 
Edmodo - Edmodo is an app that allows you to message classmates and share class materials all in one place! It is similar to Google Classroom, and there is even a place for you to make small groups. It has a stream page, a calendar, a discover page, and a messaging page. The discover page has videos, games, and other collections that teachers have created and shared with the community. This tool is honestly a great one, I would consider using it.
