9am: Band: We talked about an exclusive rental night this fall, how covid has impacted our programs and participation numbers, band schedule for next year, and the new auditorium at MVHS and bu8ilding the new one at DHS!.
10am: Help Grieving Students: Great to learn about Camp Erin and Camp Carousel (KC Hospice) for kids and families. FREE! The FREE SUPPORT groups are also helpful. Great presentation by Ann and Susan and very helpful in helping students learn how to deal with death and grief.
12:30:  Stress for Success: This was helpful with being able to recognize stress symptoms, physical, emotional, and behavioral. Dome key points were listening to your inner voice, find the meaning, develop healthy rituals, finding activities to help you relax, good habits, strengthen support network. Life matters resources for dealing with stress, alcoholism, and work place conflicts.
1:45: Jim Printup: Getting the Most out of Life Webinar. Haleh helped Jim as he lost power and there was awkward silence in the middle of the presentation. Life Matters: Limit Devices, buying habits, establish routines, de-stress daily. Choose to be happy, cultivate gratitude, Foster Forgiveness, Foster friendships, and remember- MONEY CAN’T BUY HAPPINESS.
