Part of her job is helping people to obey the safety policies implemented by health and government agencies, but that's proved to be challenging, she said.
The lack of compliance has led to her anxiety about the infection, as well as her family, even though she's practising physical distancing and making sure she changes clothes and showers as soon as she gets home. Her four-year-old son also displayed symptoms of pandemic anxiety.

Some aspects of her work have changed due to physical distance constraints and other safety measures, but the essence of her work remains the same. Phone calls and video conferences are replacing face-to-face contact with patients' families due to a visitor ban, she said. I have to do a lot more of the work on the phone and actually try to give people videos of what things look like because it's very hard to explain how anyone moves or functions without physically seeing it.
