Anorexia Nervosa is a mental illness or eating disorder which is characterized by weight loss, food restriction, intense fear to gain weight, and extreme body dysmorphia. Severe cases can lead to one having brittle bones, impaired temperature regulation, hair loss, heart murmurs, cessation of menstruation, loss of consciousness and even death.
