Week 5 
Learning Objective:
I can tell which skull is a carnivore or herbivore by its teeth.
There will be no live session this week. Mrs Potter, Mrs Noe and Mrs Mulholland are all involved in year 5 Parents Evening.
Instructions:
(1) Watch Mrs Mulholland's flipgrid video.
(2) Watch the BBC Bitesize video - Teeth - how they help animals eat.
(3) Explore the skull of "Dippy the Dinosaur'" on the Natural History Museum website. Make sure you click on numbers 1,2 and 5 to find out about its teeth, jaw and chin. Rotate (move) the skull so you can see it from different positions (angles). Do you think Dippy the Diplodocus was a carnivore or a herbivore? Why?
(4) Activity 1: Complete the worksheet on herbivores and carnivores. This should be added to your OneNote page
(5) Activity 2: Fill in pages 18-19 of your workbook. This should be added to your OneNote page. There is a copy of this in the Wakelet if you don't have your course book. 
Extension: 
Read the page on the Natural History website. Megalodon: the truth about the largest shark that ever lived. Find out about their teeth compared to the Great White Shark. Write down the 5 facts, you find most amazing about this animal.
