Digital Citizenship is practicing respectful, responsible, and safe use of the internet and technology. With technology being integrated into the classrooms, it is our responsibility as educators to help students become aware of proper procedures when using the computer and develop good citizenship in the virtual world. Children today have access to massive amounts of information through the internet. They are connected to the world and others at the click of a button. We must teach them to be kind, show respect, and think before they act when using the internet so that they leave a positive digital footprint as they continue to use technology.
