Your Mind's Eye

Many times we look at things in the whole--not always noticing the smaller details. This week we will be creating paintings in large scale looking at a part of the entire object. Using your phone, you will photograph parts of the flowers, fruits, or sea shells-looking at textures, color relationships, shadows and highlights, and shapes. You will choose one of your images for your large acrylic painting. You can also choose an image to use for a smaller scratch board piece, if you have time. Make some sketches in your sketchbook.
