These were all children; who were brought here if they did something wrong, if they didn't have anywhere to go. Orphans or Juveniles who were unaware.. I feel disgusted to live in a world where this was tolerated for over a century. I've questioned why these people abused these children. They are CHILDREN! They don't know right from wrong, and even if they did. It doesn't condone the actions. These people who worked in the White House are disgusting. Why! I was furious when I read about the atrocities that were described in this article, and I will never understand why they did that to children. Child or not, it's inhumane to kill somebody just for a small mishap or just trying to prevent something. “I got the worst beating I ever got at that school, over a hundred lashes at two o’clock in the morning, searing the cloth of my nightgown-" it was.. Horrible to hear, kids being dragged out of bed to be tortured. "and my underwear into my skin. I was sure I wasn’t going to survive." If children are scared for their lives, they are being mistreated and need to escape from that situation. It's horrible to realise that I was curious to see what experiences that people had in the school. I was just googling the topic and found this article. It truly topped it off and I just.. Broke down. I imagined everything, why? Not sure. Why do you do this to children?! To anybody! They had lives ahead of them, and most of them are dead. Dead. DEAD! Why do you put people's lives in the hands of insane people! These people shot the children, put them in driers, strangled them, drowned them, bludgeoned them, ETC. I wish that I was able to do something about it; but it's practically impossible.
