3rd Gr. Wk. 25 Jazz - Improve and Syncopation
Day 1 - in honor of Black History students will learn about Jazz, look at syncopation and improvisation. Will learn about a Jazz composer and listen to one of his compositions. If time we will do a Bucket drum routine. Day 2 - Students will listen to Ella Fitzgerald sing Dukes song and do a quick compare and contrast. Will discover Scat and do a little scatting. Will work more on improve with a few activities, and create a Jazz melody.
