Ok, I've spent the last week trying to figure this out. I finally do and I didn't even know it. I'm still trying to get it to work but I'm about to give up on it for now. I've been updating this machine for about a year and I think I'm out of luck.
The description says " The Game" and it does say "Gold Rush". So it IS Gold Rush The Game and it DOES include DLC. It runs on. All the usual settings from the factory are here as well as my data. It's on a separate hard drive, not in the "drive D" (I renamed it).
It was set up as a bootable USB from a burnt ISO file (done with a DVD) by another member here who is going by the name "Boof Games". I followed the instructions in the message about the DVD ISO and now have a.ISO file on my desktop with the same name as the USB file (I just delete the original one after using it).
What is a valid DVD ISO and how is it used to install the game and all its DLC? I'm just kind of lost as to how this is supposed to work.
My goal is to get this game running again on this machine. I've been trying to install the game and everything has been a failure. I've tried this game with other machines running Windows 7 x64 and have had success on all of them except this one. I'm using.ISO files to install and use the USB installer and that is working on every machine except this one.
