Reflection of culture or Religion 
Often the function of clothing is not just to protect our bodies but in fact for religious purposes and beliefs. An example of this would be relevant in Muslim culture where many if not most women wear a Hijabs and Berkas or for Men to often wear Turbans. This look although used for religious beliefs can be styled based on personal style and influence. Numerous designers are are additionally making captivating head scarfs in the hopes that the hijab will one day be worn in Vogue magazine. 
One woman who has influences many Muslim and non Muslim women is Rachel Maryam who is an Indonesian Model. Rachel is always seen modelling her head scarf and is becoming a strong influence as she is not shy to wearing colourful scarfs not often common in Muslim culture.
