The Dalelands cover the lands between Erebor and Esgaroth under the Lonely Mountain. Elves, dwarves and humans lived peacefully. Orcs led a strict tribal way of life. But the Second Age left its mark on their peaceful existence.
Erebor. Three Trees of Life: the Elven tree - Elendil, the "Noble Ash" of the Dwarves - Gimli, and the tree of people - Eru Ilúvatar.
People had no ruler, no laws, no rules of conduct. The enmity between races and peoples flared up with renewed vigor. The situation became more and more tense every day. Against the backdrop of internecine wars, the most important thing seemed to survive.
Once, when the Elves tried to restore their power over the earth, and the dwarves protected themselves from people and people from the Elves, a miracle happened. In Erebor, the Great Ash Tree burned. All who were inside fell in the fire, but what was not burned, which was the Tree of Life, spread to the surrounding trees. Fire appeared over Erebar. People lost control over their forces and realized that the power of Iluvan, capable of creating the World, is in their hands.
In an effort to subjugate the forces of Iluvytar, people staged a fierce war against the orcs. They attacked them with such fury that many orcs fled, and the survivors were rebuffed by men, elves and dwarves.
In order to prevent people from conquering the lands of their neighbors, they built an invisible barrier against people and began to prepare for war.
The Ilong Era lasted nearly a thousand years. During this time, people and orcs were able to learn the basics of new weapons, build cities and towns. At the beginning of the Second Age, people irrigated their lands, and the orcs began to move north.
Five thousand years have passed. The world has become different. In the hearts of the people, Iluwane was lit again, and they again rushed for their new treasures. Gone were the ancient castles, destroyed by the orcs, and the Dwarf mountains deserted. Unbeknownst to the humans, the orcs had rebuilt them and removed the barriers that held them back, and the orcs only needed a little push to destroy them.
