Interviewing-Amy Dawson(English TV actor)

Today I will be interviewing Amy Dawson an English actor who appeared in many tv shows and also working at Rada auditioning people, and she will be telling me about her experience as an actor and what she has done to get herself recognised and therefore on tv. 
She told me about this company called open doors that’s an organisation that supports low income actors that gives workshops and lessons that trains and supports aspiring actors and performing arts students.

She told me it’s better to go to a professional drama school if I want to go straight into being a performer rather than going to university.She told me it’s better to start auditioning for drama schools.

If I’m more lenient to musical theatre mountain view-based in north London ,gilford school of acting-straight acting courses and musical theatre courses.Sylvia young,arts Ed,Italian conti.All do musical theatre learn equal measures of acting,dance,singing. 
She told me when she did blood brothers.The experience on being on the stage is amazing. 
She told me I also have the option to do straight acting-Rada,gilford,drama studio,Birmingham school of acting for example.You have to be a really good actor 
. 
Look into it it’s possible for funding,student loan. 
Main problem-cost of auditioning,if you apple to open door they can cover the costs for you.Decide whether you want to musical theatre of classical acting course. 
22-when she trained for Rada,learn but of everything-Shakespeare,classical verse,tv work.stage,comedy,modern acting,use your voice,body movement and posture,Alexander technique.Do sections of dance,period dance.Tecahes you waltz.Doesn’t teach rap dance of jazz not what your used to.

Aim high with drama schools-Big drama schools=more agents.pick out people that you want to sign.

Nothing stopping you just do it and apply for courses.Apply for drama and musical theatre. 
Good agent-some form of drama school hard to do it ok your own.Do some auditions and learn from it rejection is normal.Don’t bother going uni or doing it urself go to a professional drama school doing proper courses.Based solely on auditions not a levels. 
Try go out see more plays and musicals.Watch as much as you can even online.National theatre live-channel-screening plays because of theatres closing.Absorb as much performances you can that will benefit you as an actor.
