Podcast Reflection:
Start with your initial reactions.
I am devastated for this young man and I also think the message needs to be shared. I hope they do another podcast about him the others and how things turned out 5-10 years later. 
Where did William's thinking go astray? 
I think the pressure for kids to fit in and be cool has always been there it was just harder to catch people in the past before social media. 
Where did he fail to apply critical evaluation and awareness of the digital world? 
It seems we are not educating the youth on the dangers of the internet as we should. He didn't know or think that private chats can become public or shared with others. He didn't think that future employers or friends would have access. I think critical thinking is lacking in education but also the dangers. When I was young we were taught to stop, drop and roll and well knew fire danger, water danger, stranger danger very well. Then it became a new world of social media and online dangers and the education side of this still hasn't caught up!
How could a strong and steady diet of critical evaluation and critical awareness have prevented William's unfortunate choices?
I think this can be taught and demonstrated from an early age. I think discussion at home and in the community as well as sharing examples like this one will only help those who are still learning.  
Comment on the features of the Podcast (inclusion of audio narration, interview, music, and storytelling elements). What made the audio storytelling creative and compelling? 
The music, the voices and the pace helped. The background sounds reminded me of an old school radio show. I like the visual aspects of most things so I haven't spent a lot of time listening to podcasts but I enjoyed this one. I think the narrator had the best voice and the others were just okay but it was overall really well done!
