Restroom Inclusivity at Tech Conferences

Gender is not a binary. Gendered restrooms present a stressful dilemma for many people who are transgender, genderqueer, or gender-nonconforming. Choosing between "men's" and "women's" restrooms can rife with personal and professional risk. In some places, there's very real risk of being arrested. Single-stall restrooms, unisex restrooms, family restrooms, all-genders restrooms, or gender-neutral restrooms are gender inclusivity strategy that recognizes that people of every gender have equal need to pee in peace.
