Ghost Stories and Lost Ships of the Desert

No matter where you are in the world, you are going to hear ghost stories, legends, tall tales and folklore unique to that area. Palm Springs is no exception to that rule.  The Palm Springs desert is as magnificent as it is mystical. Because of this, many people have vowed to explore this gorgeous desert often. Judging where this is not a coastal area, the tales and sightings of ship wrecked vessels is something of a mystery. With the southern California desert being about 100 miles inland, it has always been uncertain as to how those ships ended up here.
