Can't Metro? Lyft!

The ride share company Lyft is offering discounts on rides for passengers who live near Metro stations that will be closing for improvements. Through the end of 2018, Lyft will provide 50% off Lyft Shared rides to each eligible passenger up to $5 each weekend.

People can get the discounts if they live in ZIP codes located within one mile of the Metro stations undergoing improvements.

The company provided a list in its news release today:

This weekend (July 7 and 8), the stations include Judiciary Square, Union Station, NoMa-Gallaudet University, and Rhode Island Avenue.

The weekend of July 21 and 22, stations include Rhode Island Avenue and Brookland.

The weekend of July 28-29, stations include Rhode Island Avenue, Brookland, NoMa-Gallaudet University, Fort Totten, and Takoma.
