February 2019 in the European Ombudsman's Office
In February we issued a press release welcoming the high level of transparency during Brexit negotiations and the closing decision on our inquiry concerning the appointment of the Commission's Secretary General. The Ombudsman met with the EU's Chief Negotiator M. Barnier and also gave a keynote address on harassment in the EU institutions based on her 'Dignity at work' report.
