Our Named Pipe class provides a flexible, easy to use, and autocleanup mechanism for interprocess communication using a named pipe. You create the named pipe by passing arguments to the static PNP_Create() function. Once the named pipe has been created, you can supply a name, supply a message filter, set a high watermark, set a maximum message size, specify a maximum user name length, and set a message handler procedure which will be called when a user name is received. When you have finished specifying the name of the named pipe and you have supplied a message handler procedure, you must initialize the class by calling PNP_Init().
PNP_SetDefaultFilter() sets the default message filter for all messages sent over the pipe. This is a string which you pass as the second argument to PNP_Create(). The default filter is "filter:=filtertext" where filtertext is whatever name you supply. You must pass the same default filter to PNP_SetDefaultFilter(), or your request will be discarded. When you have completed specifying the default filter, you can then retrieve the default filter by calling PNP_GetDefaultFilter(). If you are not interested in modifying the default filter, you can skip this step.
PNP_GetHighWatermark() determines the maximum number of characters allowed to be written to the named pipe. This default value can be overridden by calling PNP_SetHighWatermark(). The maximum user name length can also be modified by calling PNP_SetMaxUserNameLength() after the named pipe has been created.
PNP_SetUserHandler() enables you to modify the timeout value after the pipe has been created. If you specify a value of zero, the method will not timeout any requests.
The message handler procedure is called by the Named Pipe when a new name is received over the named pipe. You must supply a request handler function that takes the following signature: void  (*GetName()). You must pass the name you wish to receive to the function. Once a name is received the function has to handle the response it gets.
