Changes for AutoCAD 2014 include:

File formats
File formats can be exported from AutoCAD. The standard format is the AutoCAD DXF file format. DXF is a CAD file format. CAD is the acronym for computer-aided design. Many professional CAD applications support DXF files. DXF is a vector based graphics language.
The CAD extensions of AutoCAD 2011 and later, which were designed to meet ISO standards, are a combination of both DXF and DWG (Drawing).
There is also a DWG-based CAD format called AutoCAD Architecture.  AutoCAD Architecture is still a draft format and only shares similarities with the mature DWG format.
Note: Most CAD import and export tools and the Autodesk Exchange software only support one of these formats at a time.

Limitations
Early versions of AutoCAD were known for having two limitations, which were not addressed until later releases:
 Drawing precision: The older versions of AutoCAD had limited drawing precision. For example, the fractional value of 1/8" was rounded up to 1/9". To avoid this rounding error, AutoCAD 2015 and later support values for drawing dimensions that are exact to 0.0001 (0.001mm). This rounded precision is available on the Drafting and Simulation tabs of the Properties palette.
