Our New Education Landscape
Our lives have changed forever, we have survived and made history.
Today we work from virtual offices, hold virtual meetings and our Google phone number hides our alias. 
So how do we transition into our permanent reality? Are we going to adjust immediately like riding a bicycle? Or is it going to take a toll on our comfort zone. 
Perhaps, educating our children at home isn’t so bad, are we ready for a new movement of educators? Maybe, but it is on the horizon. We are now a different society, we have evolved into a generation that is accepting, embracing diversity, and eradicating social labels. Can we do this again? Yes, we can, but we must do this TOGETHER. 
Students who usually struggled with academics due to anxiety or stress are out-performing their peers, the social inadequacy has been minimized allowing us to shift effortlessly into a culture of inclusion.  
So who benefited from this shift? We all did, at all levels, but we must continue to embrace a surplus of changes collectively. There   is a variety of educational platforms with accommodations that are common ground for everyone. Information is pre-recorded, dates are given in advance, programs have provided plush platforms with abundant visuals, lessons are closed captioned, and immediate feedback is a universal standard. 
Perhaps this experience has been positive while life altering, despite not having options to hesitate. So what now? We are all experts authoring a deep understanding of distance learning.
