Provides a set of objects and functions to help you with downloading and processing external web pages. It loads Web pages asynchronously. The framework is plug-and-play, and you can configure the downloaded pages for storage, retrieval and processing in any of these areas:
Get / Set: You can configure the extraction behavior and parameters. It is easy to extend the framework with custom properties and functions.
Storage: You can specify a directory and store the extracted pages. It is easy to extend this framework with own data types to store and retrieve the extracted data.
Retrieval: You can fetch the pages you want and process them at your convenience. It is easy to extend the framework with your own functions and properties to configure parameters on retrieval.

Using any of the TWebData components is very easy. Make sure you have a good understanding of how the TWebData components are configured. You can easily extend the framework, if needed, so that you can easily customize TWebData to your needs.
Basic principles when working with TWebData are:
At the outset, you should configure an object that represents the TWebData instance. You can provide a default implementation that uses the old WinInet API. You can also pass the path of a directory where you want to store the downloaded pages, and a root URL to go to. These URLs are not used when loading the pages, but are needed to be able to later fetch the pages you want.
The framework initializes itself with a basic configuration. It loads the URLs you want to extract information from. If you don’t provide a list of URLs, the framework automatically looks for a page that contains a list of all URLs in your list.
The framework loads all the URLs in the list sequentially, one at a time. On each call to the framework, it updates its configuration. If you want to write a method that updates the configuration, you should store a reference to the TWebData object and use this reference to update the configuration.
The framework updates all pages you want to extract information from as needed. You can add new URLs or perform other operations to further update your configuration.
When you want to download the pages you want, use one of the TWebData components to fetch the pages from the configured URL list. After you have retrieved the pages you want to process, you can use the framework to fetch the data you
TWebData
TWebData is a component that integrates a number of components to allow for the seamless downloading of data from the web.
The component consists of four components:
* A data provider
* A data extractor
* An extractor display
* A UI to allow for the management of the data you have downloaded.
TWebData achieves this through the use of WebBroker, which creates a connection with the source website and loads the page into a virtual desktop. This is done so the WebBroker component can highlight and extract information from the HTML. A HTML parser is then used to parse the HTML, looking for elements that indicate which information you are interested in.
This information includes information about the number of new messages and/or items in the topic of discussion.
Using the HTML parser, the information is then automatically extracted and stored into a collection of TData objects. These objects are then passed into the data extractor, which is able to parse the information for you and store it in its own collection of TData objects. The extractor display then contains a list of all the items in the data extraction.
The data provider handles the loading of data from multiple sites and provides it to the extractor. This allows the data to be extracted from up to four different sites. The data provider is accessible directly from the UI to allow you to easily set-up all the necessary parameters to get the data you require, and then display this information in your application.
The data itself is stored in the TData objects.
The component is available in the following editions:
* Delphi, VCL, FireMonkey, BDS 2006, BDS 2007, BDS 2008, BDS 2009, BDS 2010, BDS FireMonkey, and FastReport.
* C++Builder, VCL, FireMonkey, and C++Builder 2006.
All components are available to download free of charge. To do this, you will need a valid full-version license for all editions of Delphi or C++Builder.
