Google Glass, where next?

In tech, things usually happen fast, but often people are slow to accept new products, especially if there's no perceived utility. Normally, only companies with deep pockets who can weather the storm and stay at the technological forefront are able to survive the hostile environment of flat sales, operating losses, stock market scepticism, fast paced technological change and growing competition.
