As shown in the comic, the three rules of the Bechdel Test are: 
There must be at least two named female characters
The women must have a conversation with each other 
Their conversation has to be about something other than a man

The Bechdel Test is only a surface-level way to check if women are represented in a film. Two named women having a conversation about something other than a man should not be anything but expected. Bechdel says herself that "The test isn’t a perfect metric. A film isn’t necessarily feminist just because it passes it... the ultimate concern is creating women who are fully three-dimensional characters”. (Stylist UK)
