There are two types of games in Roblox, platform games and roll-playing games. Platform games are the main type, and are created with the Roblox game engine. They have a top-down view of a world, with you in control of the player. They are a common type of game and have been a mainstay of video games for decades. When you play a platform game on Roblox, the world is rendered in real time, just like it would be if you were playing it on a PC or console.
