AutoCAD 2018 supports 2D and 3D drawing with raster and vector geometry. It also includes objects such as blocks, shaded and unshaded surfaces, custom colors, path objects, and linetypes. These are grouped into four categories:

3D objects, including free-form solids, polylines, and polylines with text, are automatically created when a CAD file is opened. Some 2D blocks can be grouped into 3D solids. These objects are then used to create project models that can be viewed with a large monitor or on a mobile device.
3D objects can be created using the spline tool, the wireframe tool, the shape builder tool, the extrude tool, the roll tool, the polyline tool, or the 3D window.
Users can select the fill color of a shape (solid color, gradation, or texture), the stroke color of a shape (solid color, gradient, or texture), the linetype of a shape (line style, dashed, dotted, or undotted), the line color of a path, or the text color.
Shapes can be grouped, sorted, and manipulated using various tools. It is also possible to select and manipulate individual blocks within a group of blocks.

In the beginning, Autodesk had not completed the standardization and standardization of the API specification. The only API that was used was ObjectARX in AutoCAD Download With Full Crack, which later was changed to Autodesk Exchange.

AutoCAD 2010 introduced the ability to embed macro functions in applications using the Microsoft Office Office 2003 Automation Object. Office 2003 Automation Object is a set of API libraries that can be used to develop macros for Microsoft Office documents and was included as a part of the Windows SDK starting with version 5.0. It provides methods to set the AutoCAD command window into message mode, open AutoCAD, draw lines and arcs, and navigate to data.
