Now let me tell you what you get with our Upgrade.
Initial Upgrade
All the themes and skins are in the Chinese version so as not to be affected by the Chinese Internet Explorer.
If you click the 6-month version link in the first upgrade page, you will be automatically upgraded to the 6-month version.
If you click the yearly upgrade link, you will be upgraded to the yearly version.
If you click the annual upgrade link, you will be upgraded to the annually version.
Plus, you will get lots of new features, including new interface skins, new downloader, new bookmarks manager, new system setting, new user guide, new Live Tiles, new web page scene and more.
Note: due to the limitation of the upgrade process, we don't offer a 12-month upgrade.
iTunes and Play Store Upgrade
Apple's iTunes has high compatibility with Maxthon and you can move your iTunes playlists and application files to Maxthon. You can also transfer your iTunes purchases to Maxthon.
Maxthon also supports uploading, downloading from and playing from the Play Store.
Note: in this version, the "Sync on iTunes for Mac" for iPhone and iPad is enabled by default. This feature is not available for Mac OS X. This will be disabled by default in next minor version. We think it is most likely that iTunes users of Maxthon on Mac won't want it. If you don't want it, please disable it by the "Settings" button or click the this link.

Compatibility View 
Turning on Compatibility View means Maxthon is displaying the web page in a way that maximizes compatibility with the browser that is most likely to be used by visitors to that web site. For example, Microsoft Internet Explorer displays a page differently than most other browsers. If you have Compatibility View turned on and a user tries to use a Microsoft browser, the page displays differently than it would if you had Compatibility View turned off.
IMPORTANT
The Compatibility View mode is being deprecated. In order to ensure backward compatibility, the plugin will add a switch to turn Compatibility View mode on/off. In the future, Maxthon will only turn on Compatibility View mode if user’s browser settings indicate that they want to switch to compatibility mode. This change will reduce the number of false positives (i.e., compatibility mode will only be applied when it actually needs to be applied).
With the upgrade to this plugin, you might experience incompatibilities with Microsoft browser versions. We are looking into this and hope to address the issue as soon as possible.
