June 2018 in the European Ombudsman's office
In June 2018, the Ombudsman and her team participated in the European Youth Event in Strasbourg. The two-day event included workshops on how the Ombudsman can help younger citizens, as well as Emily O' Reilly's keynote speech urging young people to vote in the next European elections. The Ombudsman also received the 'Vision for Europe' award at the Prague European Summit for her work to ensure that European citizens are treated with fairness and justice by the EU Institutions.
